Katelyn Vanhoozer
USDF Bronze Medalist
After learning to ride as a child at Vanhoozer Farm, Katelyn trained with dressage trainer Deirdre R. Sabo as a working student. Katelyn earned her Bachelor's degree in Equine Science from Judson College, and competed on their equestrian team, where she rode under the instruction of Janice Palmer-Williams. Katelyn has enjoyed training with acclaimed dressage trainers including Deirdre R. Sabo, Peter Madison-Greenwell, Jennifer Jones, Hans Biss and Jan Biss. Katelyn spent 4 weeks studying dressage with Hans Biss & family in Germany in September 2018.
With an extensive background in rider biomechanics, Katelyn enjoys helping riders balance and strengthen their horses, regardless of riding discipline. Skilled in classical dressage theory, Katelyn is able to transform horses into competitive, show quality partners, and help riders accomplish their competition goals. Katelyn is currently in the process of becoming a USEF 'r' Western Dressage judge. |

We offer both dressage and western training services, which come with full boarding privileges. Our training offerings include:

All training services require a minimum of 60 days, and we have packages available for 90+ day training commitments.
Training horses are worked with 6 days/week, and are hauled to shows or other off-premise events, as appropriate for the horse and aligned with the training goals. Customized nutrition plans are developed for each horse, to help them reach their potential! Lessons for the owner are included in the training package, when appropriate for the horse and rider skill level. |
